How many sessions will I need?

Generally about 4 sessions to get some traction and see you start to gain back some control in your life. If your issues are long standing , they may need more sessions but generally speaking about 3-6 sessions; to create a collaborative working plan of action ! We can discuss that together .

What experience will you have in dealing with my issue?

I have training and experience in many areas of counselling . I constantly engage in supervision, and professional development . I am registered with ACA ( Australian Counselling Association ) If we find together that I can’t; support you in the best way possible I will refer you to someone credible and who specializes in your; issues.

Are Medicare rebates available?

No , however my cost ($120) is approximately equivalent to the out of pocket expense to see a psychologist . There is also no wait list with me ! Generally I can see you the week you make contact . I also provide support between sessions , through text, email and crisis calls . Most psychological services do not have capacity for this.

Do you do telephone or online counselling?

Yes, phone and online counselling are available. Phone 0408120830

I am worried about having to open up to a stranger. What do I do?

Don’t worry, I create a relaxed , warm and safe environment for you to open up. My goal is always to help support you to feel heard and validated .

What about confidentiality?

Your confidentiality is assured. There are only a couple of exceptions in extraordinary circumstances such as a court order mandating the release of client notes.

What if I cannot afford your fees?

My fees represent excellent value for money that is reflected in the glowing reviews by past clients. If you are facing genuine financial limitations please call me and I can discuss a scaled fee rate with you . I do not turn people away !
